**Ok I’m very sorry Mouse!! I’ve had this since 9/17…I suck!**

I was drawn to Frangipani’s about a week ago, because of a sale and because I’ll always have fond memories of it being the very first place I spent money on a dress!  Of course, that dress, still in my inventory, was marked down to $5L!  However, this outfit is not at all about that dress.

I actually was at the sale, perusing the hair selections, and saw this hair style, and that’s what inspired the outfit!  When I saw the hair, my first thought was, wow nice hair and then my second was, why do I like it?  I realized it was because the hair reminded me of the wig that Claudia Schiffer wears in the Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel ads….an ad which has been fascinating me for months now, not sure why – but the ads are striking to me.

Then as luck would have it another thing occurred.  I went to Silent to try and take some photos.  And Silent was no more, which is sad as it was a great sim – but – the store Kyoot Army is still there, with a whole new style direction, and that’s where I discovered the skirt, by Saeya Nyanda, the last mobstress.  The name alone made me buy it!

I immediately set out to see if I could get the ‘look’ of those ads – which is the best thing about SL – I think – is that you can put yourself into something like that.  I thought that the outfit should have a black sweater with white silk cuffs (okay I really think of this as a playboy kinda look, don’t know why) but of course I didn’t have one.  I started combing through my inventory and came accross this lovely sweater from Winter Moon.

In my recent trips to Bare Rose I recalled I had a white blouse with ruffled collar and cuffs and pulled that out.  Then I combined the Bare Rose ruffled collar and cuffs with the Winter Moon sweater – and somehow – it looks right!  I had to mod the cuffs – make them smaller.  I then needed some pearls and decided to mod a Dark Mouse necklace and earrings of my own making with a pearl texture as I wanted a draped Chanel pearls effect.  I then went for one of my more dramatic Curio skin makeups and the Black MaryJanes by Tesla.

There was ONE thing that I could not find anywhere and frankly – it astounded me.  I wanted those two tone stockings (white front half / black back half) that you see in the ad to wear with this outfit, and I could not find them anywhere.  I feel like the outfit would have been perfect with them.  I ended up with the free Zebra stocking from Sheer which look great too!
