I can’t remember how I started the outift I think it was with these great Deev pants in navy from Axel. I’m pretty new to shopping at Axel but they have some really nice things and are adding all the time. These pants came on both the pants and the underpants layer so they are great for layering. Also you can see the great shading and the cute little button detail. I think next I pulled out this jacket from DP Serendipity called well it doesn’t seem to have a name other than JK but it’s easy to find! This also comes on all the layers with 2 different options one has the gold trim and one doesn’t. I went with the gold trim because I liked the nautical theme with the pants.

Finding shirts go go under this was a little trickier because I wanted something that would mesh the blues together. The “sash* is actually the Fearne t-shirt from MichaMi  on the understhirt and underpants layer. The turtle neck is actually a cropped halter turtleneck from Sn@tch, like most of her stuff it comes in a big pack with lots of colors. It’s only on the shirt and jacket layers. Actually thinking about it all of these things come on multiple layers and would be a great addition to any closet.

I only have on a  necklace and earrings because I wasn’t willing to give up the jacket cuffs. This necklace is one I’ve had forever from Savvy? it comes in a couple different colors and lucky for you is still for sale! I love this Gertrude hair from Curio, but I checked and I’ve never blogged it! I dunno why because I always wear it.

I have on a new makeup from the Chai doubleshot skin line this one is called Undine and I think is a remake from an old Chai skin. This makeup is so soft and shimmery also very pink and blue my 2 favorite colors!

A little update on how the twins are doing for you! They are doing really well so far. Getting huge and causing me a little pain with the quickly growing belly. This has put me on a little extra bedrest at night, but it’s totally worth it for them to get bigger.  If any of you are on my plurk you have seen my huge belly already.

Next week I have an appointment and she is giving me the referral so that I can get the big ultrasound to find out their genders. I’m very excited I can’t want to know. As soon as I have more information I’ll share I promise.

I’m really liking the purple and green theme I’ve seen in a few recent Closet Crisis posts, so I thought it might be fun to write in with my own spin on those colors. As you can see from the photo, I particularly like seeing them paired with earthy neutrals like brown and gray, and of course in pixel-land, we can get away with mixing stripes and prints that would clash in real life. (That is, I sure hope we can get away with it.)

I built this outfit around the slashed-up Herangsa sweater from Sweetest Goodbye. I put off buying this for the longest time because I was scared I’d feel like it was slutty and never wear it, but I’m so happy I finally caved and bought it in two colors. The textures are amazingly high quality and make me so happy when I look at them.

The sweater happens to match the Jungle frayed top from Novocaine –the textures from that store blow me away. No matter how closely I zoom in on this top, it looks like real frayed silk ribbons sewn to a
cloth tank.

Of course I had to wear something from Kuri Style’s “purple and green dress” ensemble.  But let me rave for a second about the store’s revolutionary attitude and pricing philosophy. They sell entire outfits for incredible prices, and the outfits aren’t matchy-matchy at all; they’re always a little bit off, like something you’ve put together yourself. With this prim skirt, I love the silkscreen look of its print, and the way the green fabric has a pink/purple shimmer to it.

These armwarmers are a new release from Sweetest Goodbye, and worth every linden. They come in two pairs, a striped pair and a solid pair, so I decided to wear one of each. They’re entirely prim-based but they fit perfectly without adjusting.

I think I have more wigs from Tekuteku than any other hairmaker. This particular style is one of my favorites, and it’s an oldie so it’s currently being sold as a deeply discounted fatpack. Tekuteku also sells full perms hair textures in a wide range of colors, so I’ve made copies of a lot of my other wigs and re-textured them with Tekuteku textures to get the hair to look exactly the way I want it. (And of course the wigs from my store are textured with those as well.)

The Buddy Holly glasses are actually a pair I usually wear on my male av. The skin is a v1 Sin Skin, and since I’m a one-skin kind of girl, this Sakura line is actually the only skin I’ve ever purchased in SL. I think I own more than half of the makeups by now; I’m lucky that they’re really affordable.
