Ok I have broken down and installed windlight. At first I really resisted doing this because when my husband dl it I thought I looked terrible. But slowly I’ve been seeing more and more pictures that are very flattering. I am using a sort of modified version of the one that Caliah Lyon put out. Iris Ophelia did a great article on windlight that is helping me figure out what to adjust and so I hope I can only get it to work better in the future. Now this outfit! I knew I wanted to wear the Vivid skirt from Pixeldolls because it is one of my very favorite shades of pink. Baby pink is my ultimate favorite but a close second is this bright deep pink. The dress that this comes in is really gorgeous but I really love the de-constructed look of the skirt with the hanging fishnet. I did want something a little more dramatic between the top and the skirt so I’m wearing this really neat belt I found as part of the flirt skirt from Kiki’s Closet. It is on the jacket layer and then the prim buckles/straps attach to that. It removes all the problems of trying to get a belt that fits around your waist perfectly especially mine because I have a very hourglass shape. It really changes the look of the skirt and makes a tiny bit more punkish.

The shirt I have on is the cupid top from Artilleri it has a cute little pink and white polka dot belt on t he bottom but I’ve covered that with the belt. I really like the top of this shirt because even though it’s fairly plain she has done such a great job with the shading and seam details it is far from boring. I wanted a little something extra underneath so I put on the Peek-a-boo Frills bra in black and pink from Second Wave Apparel. Aside from being a super pretty bra and panty set this looks really great under alot of low cut tops. I tried on every pair of stockings/tights I owned until I realized that I needed leggings! These are the grey leggings with lace trim from Opium Everyday and they are my favorite pair. They are tintable so even though they come in gray I have them dyed to black most days. I really like the little bit of lace she has on the bottom.

I’m sure everyone is aware, but in case you have been living under a rock, Lyra Muse formerly of Last Call line of accessories has opened  a new shop now that Last Call has closed. Lucky for us she has put out quite a few of the styles she did while working with Last Call. One of these are the Jacienne shoes I think the only pointy shoes I own are from Lyra and she has a way of making them pointy without looking too elfish. I especially love the little buckle detail. I have on the Melodic Atrocity headband from Violet Voltaire because I think its fun and really I wish there more things like this out there to add to outfits.

I have on my favorite pink earrings the pink plastic earrings from Shiny things and one of my favorite necklaces the queen or hearts necklace from Lassitude and Ennui.  I’ve had these both for at least a year (probably longer) and they definately have stood the test of time. I seem to find that some  pieces are very trendy, but these feel so classic that I’m always wearing them. On my left arm I have on the Black Flexi Bangles from Caroline Apollo and the Lily bangle from Creamshop. I think I’ve said it before but Lilies are very special to me my husband has always sent me lilies going back to our 1 month anniversary so they hold a special place in my heart and this bracelet is so gorgeous.

When I was looking for hair I ran across the Nadia from ETD and it just fit perfectly. I don’t know if I’ve even ever worn this hair since I bought it, but its super cute. I think just sometimes its hard to wear hairs that come over your shoulder this one actually fits me just perfectly so I”m glad that I rescued it from the abyss that is my inventory. Am I the only one that constantly comes across items I’ve never worn since the day I bought them in my inventory?

Sometimes I run across freebies that I think can make a whole outfit. I think lately there has been an explosion of freebies, it almost is enough to build a whole wardrobe out of. Over half my outfit today was free!

First I put on the Teal High Cut Pants from GG Couture, she has a big pack of freebies but these are my favorite in the pack I especially like the wrinkles because it feels much more me. (I’m not great with the iron) I next put on the Elanor Jacket from Frozen Turquoise Valentine. This is such a cute short jacket and she also has quite a few freebies in her store. Under this I have on an old freebie which I’m sorry to say doesn’t seem to be available any longer. It is the Haver Tee (In CHEESE!!! best color name ever I think) from Savvy? since she isn’t putting out any new items I’m note sure if she will be putting them back out because of working at Armidi now, but in case she ever does make sure to snatch them up. If you weren’t blessed to find them I’m sure you can find a nice cami to wear instead (Because of the layering just make sure it’s on the undershirt layer)

My shoes are not free, but I’ve worn them so much by now they have more than earned their original purchase price. They are my very favorite Crisis Pumps from Tekilah Elytis of Sculpties Up In Here. These continue to be my favorite pumps and of course they color change what more can you ask for in a lovely pump. I am wearing the code earrings and bracelet set from Shiny Things these look a little industrial but really they are so simple and modern I have fond that they match tons of different styles. On my right arm I have on the Aurora Bloom Stack and well I guess I just put all of my favorite accessories today. I know I’ve blogged all of these before.

The adorable Bloom Ring I’m wearing is a group freebie from fuel and I just checked and it’s still available in the store. I even managed to find a free hair! This hair is so cute and its called “OL hair” she has the basic colors available and has actually I think 3 free hairs. They are worth checking out. I almost forgot my Hat! This is the Feathered Straw Hat from Pixeldolls and I adore this hat, but I just don’t get a lot of chances to wear it. I feel like I should be going on a nice picnic with my lovely hat. I chose the Chai skin in Alloy from LF because of the pretty neutral/gold makeup.
