I think I went on stripe overload today, but I couldn’t resist the Itaparica ( would love to know where this name came from) pants from Persona. These pants have amazing shading (check out my butt!!!!) and the leg prims match perfectly. The light gray ones are my very favorite but she has them in a few different shades.  Luckily they also come on the underpants layer so I was able to add the silk and hoop belt from an outfit from G.L.A.M. I think this belt is fabulous and I find myself adding it to a lot of pants that are on the upants layer.

Now you know me I’m the crazy girl who thought a zebra shirt would go nicely under a zebra cardigan. In that same sense I think hat this career funk striped top from Veschi goes perfectly with the stripey pants I have on. I love the contrast of the thicker darker stripes in the shirt. Over this I have on the short coat viridian from Kurotsubaki. Sometimes when people make prim coats they cover up too much so I don’t like to wear them because I can’t layer anything underneath. Well this one is perfect with the little slit up the side it makes it a perfect way to showcase a top underneath.

A few weeks ago in the Fuse group we got a free ring called Bloom. It’s so pretty! I’m sorry if you missed it I’m not sure if it’s still out at the shop. Another great jewelry freebie I have on is the Love Letter necklace from Coquette, I got this free around Valentines Day *Not sure where yet*. This is the most adorable little locket that looks like a letter but opens to the side and holds 2 photos. I didn’t see it in the main store so I don’t think it’s available for sale.

On my right arm I have on the flat wood bracelet (puau shell natural) from Earthtones and on my left the apple juice bakelite bangles from Culture Vulture. I’m also wearing the wonderful beaded Hoop earrings from Yummy which match pretty much any outfit you put on.I picked up the sky colored classic stacks from Shiny Things at the group sale she had a couple weeks ago. I was having such a hard time deciding on a color but now I’m really happy I picked this one I love this shade of blue.

Last week Starley released new Winter skins and well I’ll admit I may have squeaked when I saw them. Especially #2 if you haven’t noticed most of my favorite skins are dark eye liner with nude lips and especially with blue eyeshadow. I this this could be my very best perfect makeup ever! I love love *gushes more* it. I also love this hair from Celestial Studios called Whitney. Of course I always loove a cute headband but I think the style is really fun retro modern and if I ever master back combing I’m going to wear my hair this way.

This was one of those outfits that started from the waist down then from the waist up. I took the skirt from the Floral Dress in Blue from Indie and put on the Cameo Belt in Blue over it. Since the skirt is part of a dress and obviously wouldn’t have a waistband, the belt makes the skirt seem like a separate piece. The print and the colors are so pretty and make me impatient for spring. These belts are awesome, but I just wish they came in every color imaginable. They come in every layer so they come in handy when you take apart dresses and such. I did tint the belt just a smidge to an off-white color so the cameo matched the shoes and necklace. The MaryGeo Pumps in Cream from Shiny Things came next as I have been waiting for a chance to wear these shoes. I love the diagonal straps and the thicker heel. (In the pic of the back of the outfit, the shoes look discolored, but they’re not, they’re a gorgeous cream color. I think the sun moved on me and I forgot to set it back to sunrise, so I’m really sorry for that.) These remind me of these shoes I saw in rl (don’t really remember where), but they were green with a hint of blue with a cream strap and a soft pointed toe. These shoes definitely fill that desire for those rl shoes. I love the brownish band at the hem of the skirt because it made the skirt more interesting, but it took some time to find a top to go with the skirt that didn’t look too cutesy or super feminine. I chose the top from the Dolores Dress in Chocolate from bossa nova because I love the neckline and the shading is superb. Plus, it was mod so I tinted it to a warmer brown to match the band in the skirt. The original color was obviously a chocolate color, like a milk chocolate.

The necklace I’m wearing is the Tear Drop Chain Necklace from Swallowtail Designs. I love the jewelry from that store, and can’t wait for more new stuff. I really like the asymmetry of the necklace and the shape of the pearly beads. My ring is the Wood Ring in Cherry Stud from Earthtones Boutique. I love wood jewelry because the grain always has an interesting pattern. I particularly like the mix of wood tones in this ring.

My hair is the Slow Jamz 2007 hair in Black from Hiccup. I love the name, but I love the bangs even more. I need a haircut soon, so maybe I’ll go for a version of these bangs. This hair has a really sweet feel, but with a little quirkiness. I tinted the band to match the necklace; it was originally silver. My skin is the Vogue Skin in Amber (Fall – 3) from Celestial Studios. Love the lip color and the gloss, of course. And I didn’t pick 20 lip glosses for the Amazon thingie, it was 15. And, yes, I love them all. I didn’t know there was so much stuff on Amazon. (Note to Hethr & Toneless: my birthday => giant sock monkey ) 

No special brushes were used. I made a brush (yay!) and used that.
