This outfit is for Sasy Scarborough. She loves Anthropologie as much as I do and asked for a look inspired from that store. I found that store when I was on my search for my perfect bed and instantly fell in love with almost everything in the store. I think of Anthropologie as being a mix of feminine, classy and quirky with a modern-vintage feel. I hope that this outfit captures the essence of that store. So, on to the outfit….I started with the Colorful Argyle Knit Jacket. This really does look like something a grandmother would have stashed away in the attic (I wish that my grandmother did). There are even some areas of discoloration which adds to the realistic vintage look. I love the crazy color combo and that this comes in all three top layers (yay!). Over it, I’m wearing the Tweed Jacket in Red. I don’t wear red very often, but I found this to be a perfect opportunity. I don’t know how Nylon does it, but it’s amazing. That collar really pops out at you! Underneath, I am wearing the Tintable Demi Cami on the undershirt and pants layer. Tops with bottoms on the pants layer are treasured pieces in my inventory, and I don’t think I can ever get enough of them. I think I might have a denim addiction because every couple of posts I have to whip out a pair of jeans. Thankfully, there are many wonderful pairs of jeans out there. These jeans are the Promise Jeans in Dark Denim. I’m wearing the underpants version so I could have my cami untucked. There are two different prim leg attachments – cuffed and regular.

My shoes are the D’orsay Shoes in Brown. I love d’orsay shoes and am so happy to see more of them in sl. My necklace is the Chain/Pearl Necklace. The necklace has a pretty quirkiness about it. I’m wearing the Classic Tank Watch in Caramel/Gold (Gold Face) from Muse. This particular color was a group freebie; however, there are many other gorgeous colors available.

My hair is the Bonita II in Smoke from ETD. This is one of those hairs that I find myself going back to again and again. It is earring, eyelash, and scarf friendly, and the casual elegance of the style lends itself to many different looks. My skin is the Vogue Skin in Amber (Fall – 3) from Celestial Studios. I love the little hint of green on the bottom lash line and the gloss. I’m always a fan of lip gloss.

I started with the Tartan Skirt. I love it because the fabric looks like a taffeta or sateen cotton, and usually when you see tartan like that, it tends to be in a fabric with a matte finish. I shortened the skirt a tad and tinted the buckles to black and the metal to silver. There are various rises included with the skirt. I chose the higher rise because I’m not a huge fan of the visible lower belly and it also hides the cutoff point of the tank top. I’m wearing the Tank Top from the Deepchild Dress in Taupe. The drape on this top is so pretty and the back is just gorgeous. Underneath, I am wearing the Plain Knit Halter in Lemon. Lots of layer options are available with these halters. I really like the richness of the color and that the cut of the back doesn’t interfere with the back of the Deepchild Dress Tank Top. To top it all off, I’m wearing the belt from the Santa Maria Outfit. I adore the width of this belt and the detailed (but not distracting) overall look of it.

My shoes are the Enchant Shoes in Antie’s Black. I’m not able to justify a purchase of Louboutins as of yet; however, these shoes certainly suffice in the meantime. I love peep toes despite sl’s lovely feet, and I love it when patent is presented in a non-hookery way. My necklace is the Multiple Chain Necklace from Yummy. I usually don’t go for all the hearts and lovey stuff, but this was too cute to pass up. I really like the different chain textures used in the necklace and the finishes of the silver. I think the necklace also balances out the edginess of some pieces of the outfit. My bangle is the Aurora Bangle in Green/Yellow from the Shades of Spring Bangles. I love the detail and the pop of green color.

My hair and hat combo is Janine in Smoke from ETD. The hat has a color (various neutrals) and texture (tweed stripes or solids) changing script. Anytime I can incorporate tweed, I will. I like the texture of the tweed against the sleek and shiny fabrics. My skin is the Vogue Skin in Amber (Classic Glitter – Silver 1). I love the dark eye and nude lip makeup combos.
