I’m sure you all know my dilemma prim boots, so just imagine how excited i was to see the new Buccaneer’s Lass boots from Launa Fauna! They actually fit me and they have great textures, they just look like they would be soft and comfy. In honor of them I decided to do a modern day pirate inspired look.

I started with the retro chidori skirt from Barerose, I am convinced that chidori means “super cute fabric for skirts” because she has a few outfits out of this pattern and I have loved every one.

I took a long time finding a shirt because I didn’t want to go too costumey. I finally decided on the peasant in innocent from Liquid Velvet Studios because it is soft and feminine and I liked that it has a tank top for under it. Over this I’m wearing the buckle corset in black leather from Torridwear. I got this in a pack with a bunch of other colors for some ridiculously low price. You should defiantly get a pack they are done very well and are under priced for sure.

The necklace I’m wearing is the diamond double cross from Elex Matador Designs. For some reason I have a hard time finding good crosses in sl, but I love this one it’s just sparkly enough without being over the top. (well thats from my perspective and you know I love my sparklies) I needed a little color so I put on the melodic atrocity cuffs in pink from Violet Voltaire. These spiked cuffs are freaking adorable with their lace and bows. And yes I am a little biased towards Violet but I would love them even if someone else made them. They come in a really cute set that even has a headband I’m gonna work into an outfit someday.  The pink in the cuffs made me want to wear my Lulu Chunky hoops.

I think the Anisa hair from Etd is one of my favorites. I love that in the dirty burnt texture it has a great pattern on the bun. I have on yet another of the Deviant Nation Vamp skins, I might have to hire Starley to teach me how to do that to my eyeliner in rl. This one is called Beguile and is actually pretty neutral allowing the eyes to really pop.
