Happy New Year!! I don’t know about you but I am more than ready to start over again next year. I decided this year I needed 2 New Years outfits. One is more conservative and one for the late night parties ( ok really I just couldn’t stand wearing only one Party Dress I’ll admit it).
First my conservative outfit.
I have so many things lurking in my inventory that maybe I wore one time when I first got them or maybe they are like this Jacket by Wrong that I have never worn. I can’t tell you why I haven’t. I think its the cutest thing ever, maybe because I had a hard time finding a skirt to go under it. I did manage to finally find a skirt that wont take the jacket bottom off and it is from the LE: Buckle Empire Dress set by Pixel Dolls (no longer for sale). The skirt on this actually attaches to your legs so it works perfectly.
For the top I am wearing a new outfit from Shai called Solid Gold Body Suit. She put the pants on the underpants layer as well as the pants layer so it can be worn like a body suit should be, under pants or skirts. She also had this great Disco Ball in her shop in the same texture, you should definitely go pick one up for your New Years Parties. The shoes I chose are my very favorite high heels ever, they are called Uptown by Prim Seduction. I topped the outfit off with Gold Chain Hoops from Kitty’s Rampage (no longer available) and the new Eva hair in Dirty Burnt by Etd. I had to fight my way through 40 other rabid shoppers last night at the ETD group’s presale but it was very much worth it. I wonder if I can hire Elika to come do this to my hair in rl…hehe.
Now my late night party outfit.
I kept my Eva hair because I am just that in love with it. But I added this new dress by Nylon called Gold Party Dress. This I think is the perfect New Years Dress and comes with a cute flexi bow around the waist and some great dangle earrings.
Because the dress itself was so glamorous I opted to wear some low key shoes. As I was fighting my way to hair at ETD last night I also discovered these adorable ballet flats. Then I added my Baltic Amber Necklace and Callia bracelet by Cailyn, a wooden bracelet from Caroline Appolo and a great big Martini and I am ready to party the night away.
